Cheryl Lynn Hilgendorf - Celebration of Life Service - April 20, 2024

Cheryl Lynn Hilgendorf (Adams), age 70, of Brown City, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born April 11, 1954, to Vincent and Lucille (Stimson) Adams in Brown City, Michigan. She graduated from Brown City High School in 1972. She married Steve Hilgendorf on July 24, 1982. Cheryl was a dental assistant for 40 years. She retired in October 2014 to be a full-time grandma. She loved being around children and never missed an opportunity to support her grandchildren. Cheryl served in the nursery for many years and was a lifetime member at the Brown City Missionary Church. She was a selfless woman who served her community wherever there was a need.

She is survived by her husband Steve, children Andy (Katy) Hilgendorf and Emily (Drew) Losinski. Her beloved six grandchildren Reed, Annabelle, Johnny, Lucy, Lane and Lincoln. Also survived by sister Karen (Gene) Burgess and brother-in-law Jerry Martus. She was preceded in death by an infant son Samuel Hilgendorf, parents Vincent and Lucille Adams and siblings Ron Adams and Myrna Martus.

A funeral service will be Saturday April 20, 2024 at 12:00 Noon with visitation starting at 10:00 am at the Brown City Missionary Church.

Memorials may be made to the Brown City Missionary Church or Project Blessing Thrift Shop.
